Francesca Guerrera is a woman of many talents, but first and foremost she is an aesthetician who has taken makeup artistry to the next level. She has worked with the country’s elite including First Lady of California Maria Shriver, the Kennedy family and supermodel Nikki Taylor, among others, and throughout her prestigious career in the industry, she has taken on the role of the makeup artist to makeup artists. Born and raised in Italy, Francesca came to the states as a young girl and quickly set her sights on a career in the burgeoning beauty industry. At age 13, Francesca began applying professional makeup and started experimenting with the basics of product development. As a young girl, she was already melting lipstick colors together, crushing shadows and mixing powders to create entirely new shades. Years later, after spending a short stint in business school, Francesca decided to merge her passion for beauty and education and attend cosmetology school. With a degree in cosmetology under her belt, she spent four years working in a local salon and then at the young age of just 24, she opened her own salon. She quickly garnered a reputation for her skill in discerning which hair color would best suit each individual client. At the same time, she also continued to cultivate her talent for makeup artistry through participation in a variety of fashion shows and with her striking, gorgeous looks, she even modeled in several of the shows herself.

As a licensed aesthetician, in 1986 Francesca opened the only prestige, full service, European day spa and cosmetic boutique in Cape Cod. At Vista Del Mar Spa, Francesca quickly found herself hobnobbing with Massachusetts’ most elite faces and honed her skills as a true professional skincare expert. She was even welcomed into the fold of the Kennedy family and served as their go-to beauty expert for any and every function on Hyannis port.

Today, Francesca lives in Fort Lauderdale with her two daughters and is committed to living a full, healthy life. She is a talented painter, an excellent cook, an avid fan of spinning classes and she believes that a little pampering should be part of everyone’s daily ritual. Francesca says, “Take a bath, take a walk – anything – just distract yourself from your stressful schedule and you’ll find the benefits to be enormous. You will notice almost immediately a change in your face, derived from the simple, pure pleasure of just spending time with yourself. I personally think the notion of pampering creates a sense of indulgence or extravagance, when in reality it is just renewing and reviving oneself in order to perform at the top of your capabilities. Taking care of oneself in this way makes good sense. It improves your performance in all aspects and phases of your life.
